We've got a real address now, folks! Now you can visit this page by going to http://www.alekalekalek.com. This URL is both easy to remember, and was not taken.
Additionally, the complete discography has been moved off of mediafire and onto a real server. Links in blog posts have been updated accordingly, and the music page has of course been updated as well. Downloading should now be a much faster and more convenient process.
More upgrades will be rolling out soon as this site moves off of the free service offered by webs.com and onto something a bit more professional. Hopefully the music will also be available to stream in your browser soon, too, even if it's a low-tech solution like YouTube.

I'm very happy and excited to release my new EP, Residual Grief. It's 16 minutes long with four tracks.
After releasing Time a few years ago, I sort of switched into just dabbling around with my guitar and keyboard, occasionally releasing an individual track. I didn't really have a big project going on or anything until maybe six or seven months ago when i had the idea for Residual Grief. I wanted to make something with a broader concept like Time had, but I wanted to keep it short so it didn't turn into a nightmare project that never got done. And this is the result!
Also, as a first for me personally, I had someone else directly involved with the production of this album. My long-time pal Justin Hardcastle provided a lot of input, particularly with respect to percussion. He was super helpful and really made the album shine, I think. Big ups to him.
I've encoded the audio as MP3s at 256 kb/s. Download link is below, ior you can grab it from the Music section on the sidebar to your right.

The site just went live. Just this moment! This first post will contain all of the music I've done up until now, and future posts will contain new songs I will record, as well as just general news concerning my music.
Here is the catalog up to this point. It's all available for free download.
(Songs that have an asterisk next to them are covers, not written by myself!)
